That Other Feller

We were standing in line to enter a baseball stadium in Seoul In June of 2023, when we struck up a conversation with two gents from Australia. I had on a Polo shirt with a K.C. Chiefs emblem, which these guys recognized.

"Ah, you like the Chiefs. Yeah, that Mahomes feller is awesome."

Indeed, he was correct on both accounts. Then he said, "Yeah. Mahomes and that other feller. What's his name?"

My wife, being the bigger fan, answered, "Do you mean Travis Kelce?"

"Yeah. that's him."

Little did we know, that Kelce would fix that international recognition problem a few months later, not by being a better football player, but by finding a girl to date.
